Our Services

Clear, practical pension advice tailored to your situation. Fixed fees, no hidden costs.

Every person's pension situation is different. Some need help understanding what they already have. Others are approaching retirement and need to decide how to access their savings. Some want to consolidate scattered pensions, while others need specialist advice on transferring a defined benefit scheme.

We offer a range of services to address these different needs. All our services begin with understanding your circumstances before making any recommendations.

What's included:

  • Review of all existing pension arrangements
  • Analysis of charges and fund performance
  • Projection of retirement income based on current contributions
  • Identification of any gaps or concerns
  • Written report with clear recommendations
  • Follow-up consultation to discuss findings

  • Identification of valuable benefits that should not be transferred

Regulated advice is compulsory for transfers over £30,000. We approach every case with appropriate caution—transfer is rarely the right choice, but sometimes it is.

How Our Process Works

1

Initial Discussion

We start with a conversation to understand your situation and concerns. This helps us recommend the most appropriate service and ensures we are a good fit for each other.

2

Information Gathering

We collect the necessary documentation—pension statements, benefit illustrations, and relevant financial information. We guide you through exactly what is needed.

3

Analysis and Research

Our advisers analyse your pensions in detail, research options, and develop recommendations tailored to your circumstances and objectives.

4

Presentation Meeting

We present our findings and recommendations in plain English, answering your questions and ensuring you understand every aspect before making any decisions.

5

Implementation

If you choose to proceed with our recommendations, we handle the paperwork and liaise with pension providers on your behalf.

Service Questions

Our fees cover all advice and analysis work. If implementation involves switching to a new pension provider, that provider may have their own charges which we will explain clearly before you make any decision. We do not receive commissions from product providers.

That happens fairly often, and it is still valuable. Confirming that your current arrangements are appropriate provides peace of mind. You pay the same fee regardless of the outcome—our advice is not dependent on you taking action.

A straightforward pension review typically takes 3-4 weeks from receiving your documents to presenting recommendations. Defined benefit transfer advice takes longer—usually 6-8 weeks—due to the complexity and regulatory requirements involved.

Yes. Pension tracing is included in our consolidation service, and we can add it to other services for a modest additional fee. The government's Pension Tracing Service can also help locate lost pensions, and we can guide you through that process.

Absolutely. Most of our clients now prefer video consultations. We use secure platforms and can share documents on screen during meetings. The quality of advice is identical whether we meet in person or remotely.

Our Commitment to You

Every piece of advice we provide is backed by professional indemnity insurance and delivered in accordance with FCA regulations. If you are ever dissatisfied with our service, we have a formal complaints process, and you have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
